Hi, I\u2019m Yoav.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I worked for more than 25 years as a software engineer, working with website back ends and databases, before becoming an instructor at a coding bootcamp that trained students to be entry-level developers in 14 weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Though I had a great career as a developer, I discovered that teaching and mentoring are my true passions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve helped dozens of students with no programming experience move into careers as entry-level software developers, and I\u2019m always looking for opportunities to help students learn to program or strengthen their coding skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To me, those \u201ca-ha!\u201d moments when I find the right way to explain a concept that hadn\u2019t been clear are EVERYTHING!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Helping students be successful as developers has been one of the most rewarding things I have done in my lifetime.

There’s nothing quite like helping someone be the best they can be. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
