About Me

Hi, I’m Yoav.
I worked for more than 25 years as a software engineer, working with website back ends and databases, before becoming an instructor at a coding bootcamp that trained students to be entry-level developers in 14 weeks.
Though I had a great career as a developer, I discovered that teaching and mentoring are my true passions.
I’ve helped dozens of students with no programming experience move into careers as entry-level software developers, and I’m always looking for opportunities to help students learn to program or strengthen their coding skills.
To me, those “a-ha!” moments when I find the right way to explain a concept that hadn’t been clear are EVERYTHING!
Helping students be successful as developers has been one of the most rewarding things I have done in my lifetime.
There’s nothing quite like helping someone be the best they can be.
I’d love to do that for YOU!
